Like I said, bare handed skills. That means no weapons involved. Pure personal skills. he might also have that re-direct moveset like aikido or whatnot you now. Remember that "ki" seems to be outside game logic (mean: magic).
Just like books & reliefs, actual martial arts & weapon fighting skills also seems outside game logic (again, non magic) & you have to "learn" manually through a real experience. Kinda like fighting game that you got a base moves but everything is depend on personal skills of the player.
Yeah, the world feels game-like but some parts of it clearly more IRL & not so game-like.
Also, pretty much in line with "outside of the box" thinking with Naofumi.
I feel like Naofumi would be a great candidate for Tai Chi. After all, Tai Chi is all about absorbing your oponent's energy and redirecting it away from you.
I hope with the introduction of martial arts & ki, Naofumi could learned some bare-handed fighting style or something.
