The MC is a mess. Sleeping with older women while claiming to like two girls, one his future wife and another his classmate. However, I feel like his future wife, Sachiko is being selfish and petty. Although he likes his classmate (obviously), he was genuinely concerned for her grandmother / his boss. I felt like Sachiko was basically telling him not to be. That if it's not about her he shouldn't care about other girls or their problems. She comes first regardless.
I can see why their marriage was failing. Seems like she also plays a role in it and it shows a bit in their youth.
