She had stated in more then one chapter that after being treated like a child for so long, that she feels she has regressed mentally
That's not an excuse, that's just poor writing.
The whole rebirth thing could've been taken out and not much would change considering they also used the excuse of her "blood" as to why she was a coherent baby.
It’s a work of fiction, I wouldn’t take it to seriously.
That doesn't mean bad story elements get a free pass. It certainly nothing to drag the conscious, but I'm not dumb enough to just accept things that are stupid.
