I agree actually to me the uke is the problem here he's making things difficult by jumping to conclusions like just now it seemed like he told the alpha he didn't love him thus shouldn't mate with him and then said he's a good friend he is chalk full of misunderstandings there should be no hate on the seme at all.. the uke is cute but stupid...
I think they are both wrong and stupid for not saying their real thoughts but the way Seme choose the words is wrong and it’s hurting Uke feelings while Uke words didn’t ? For example,the way Munechika speaking like “it couldn’t be help for the sake of you” made others and Kanade think Chika give him kindness but not love and it’s heartbreaking, well Kanade too, his word feel like he don’t want to become mate with Chika ‘cause he didn’t love him but it is a result from Chika’s word.
P.s. I don’t have problems with who will confess first but the way they both act is so pissing me off .
Yeah kana could have stated that better but he said it that way for fear of getting a rejection from Chika. After Chika did Kana's thinking for him in chapter 2 and gave him that are you sure you know what it means to be mates speech he realized he hurt kana's feelings but thought it had to be done. Then he doesn't talk after sex or touch kana any more than necessary. How else was kana supposed to interpret that? That goes beyond miscommunication. Also, Chikas body language and demeanor support everything that kana is thinking. I think that is why folks are so down on the seme.
Ah I didn't take it as he was telling him how to feel but more so making sure of his feelings for him, because of the parents and the way they began their partnership, but I see your point of view as well
Yup that's what I think too. For example in chapter 1 kana pushes mune away when he tries to 'mate/bite' him and so obvi he wants to be sure of kanas feelings cause kana might just be caught up in his omega feels and not actually love him so he's giving him time to reply whether he likes him or not and "when he did kanas thinking" and told him I think you think this, kana didn't really confidently say 'no your wrong I do like you'. And him not talking is like when after a confession you give the person space to think and reply (I mean they're still doing it but thats only to help him control his urges lol)...
But anyway my point was that the Mune shouldn't have gotten so much hate (seen in the earlier comments) since it was a two way miscommunication
I agree, I don't think either MC should be hated on by the fandom. I think it is funny that they are so oblivious. Kanas friends point out to him that Chika acts like a boyfriend in chapter 1. Kana got jealous of chika laughing with the megane omega. Chika got jealous of Kana talking to the doc. Neither one recognized that the jealousy meant they liked each other beyond friendship. I noticed some possible foreshadowing in this chapter..kana may find himself in danger from some bad alpha(s) soon, that may force chika to action.

Wth why is everyone just hating on Munechika and like poor Kanade? (Genuinely asking btw) From what I see neither are properly communicating. And Munechika pretty much implied he had feelings by saying think about if you want to accept me as a mate meaning Mune already accepts Kanade as a mate, but kanade misunderstood as idk something else lol. Mune again says he wouldn't mind being mates, yet all the while Kanade literally hasn't give ANY clue that he like Mune we only know cause we can see his thoughts but ppl getting mad Munes not explicitly saying I love you what about Kana tf doing the same thing. Ppl don't see from any perspective other than the MCs. Sorry for kinda going off but I always see ppl hating on the top/seme/alpha for not saying I love you first basically brining in old fashioned stereotypes from a heterosexual couple were the guy confesses first.
