Gets increasingly better

Starts with your general over-the-top type of situations that Oshimi Shuuzou is very well known for, and the art is considerably weak for the first 3 volumes or so. Thankfully the pace is fast enough so you can power through it

The second half changes to a really unpredictable direction, presenting itself in a more grounded way and with a much more suitable atmosphere than the first one. The last volume is especially great compared to everything else, with the reunition chapter being the most powerful in the story, concluding the whole thing beautifully.

So far it's easily his best work (not counting Chi no Wadachi)
