Things seem to be getting heated and I really pray this can be solved in a peaceful way.
I don't know anything about the opposition leader, but is he really a better option? Idk. But I think that rn the important thing is not letting Maduro assume the power one more time. In 4 or 5 years the country went down and if they left him rule for another period who knows what would happen with this people, plus the effort they'd have to make would have to be even bigger to solve that situation. So, instead I do think they need someone that can at least put a stop to this chain of bad decisions, and hopefully can make the country better little by little.
I just saw pictures of Wednesday rally and read awful things about how he treats himself to steak in Turkey and how poor people are, which made 3 millions to flee the country. That's why I asked.
