For one, he is hiding his powers. Even if it's revealed, his powers are "good" because he is of the church (supposedly). He can just claim that his powers are divine. Though, whether or not people believe him will depend mostly on his own actions. Her powers are "evil" because they are of unknown supposedly evil origins. If people trust him then they'll believe him over her.

I'm assuming Sigmund grabbed her... How is he going to persecute her when it appears he has powers of his own? What makes his powers 'good' and hers 'evil'? Bruh...( ̄へ ̄)
