Where'd you read the novel?
By novel i meant the time, when athy was wondering what happened after the happy ending.
And this is just pure fantasy.
Maybe in the novel after the happy ending, that asshole brother cursed claude through jenette and then took over his kingdom. Jenette being stupid from birth didn't know what to do. Since ijekiel only though of her as a responsibility and didn't love her sp they weren't doing well. Due to asshole's darkmagic, kingdom was facing difficulties. And when he was about to kill claude, athanasia shows up along with lucas.
It is then revealed that on the execution day lucas saved athanasia maybe because he didn't want such a strong magic weilder to die or maybe he just wanted to eat her or something else. Athanasia is all powerfull now as she was training herself in magic since that day. She kills the asshole and saves claude.
One more shocking thing happens and it is revealed that athanasia's mother diana didn't die because of athanasia, she was cursed by the asshole brother.
Now, athanasia takes over the kingdom and becomes the crown princess while lucas becomes her royal magician as they had become friends ( maybe fell in love as well).
Claude retires and starts to think about diana more and more and regrets not saving her. Ijekiel divorces jenette and leaves the kingdom to fullfill his ambitions. Alpheas family is banished from the kingdom and jenette leaves the rest of her life in a nunnery!!
