Like is good singing, or painting or acting more because natural talent or hard-work?
Is there one where hard-work can't make a difference?

For me I think that people who're excellent in art definitely has the talent for it. Or maybe we can say that the have a good sense for it. However, I'm not saying that they don't put any hard work in it. I mean those with talent will surely be even far better in what they do if they put considerable amount of hard work in it. Hard work is sure to bring in a positive result. Even to those who haven't got the talent or sense.

Anyway...this is only my brief personal view (▰˘◡˘▰)

The 'nature' stuff is mostly nonsense. It's about practicing, practicing and practicing. I only know about drawing from experience, but you have to doodle everyday if you want to improve. A lot of people say it's not in their nature as a way to avoid putting in the hard work. People are always inventing excuses to not do something difficult, and even believe those excuses themselves.

Well if you’re asking whether everyone can be whatever they want through hardwork then, no. Everyone is born with different skills and environment thus, nothing is fair. One can be born with a great voice but an environment that is surrounded with poverty can’t get you far. Give acting for an example. Yes, you can act even if you do not have a nice face and in fact, there are many that are famous despite having a regulat face but it’s a known fact that having a pretty face makes it easier to climb the stair of success. So basically, hard work differs for different people but hard work is needed for anything in life. — that’s just my opinion though.

For the record, I agree totally. I perhaps should have been a bit more cautious about using the crappy corporate language of "hard work pays off" which is false, but for sketching I felt it was okay.
