I agree. Yet, when authors challenge this, for example with Hirunaka no Ryuusei, it gets *so* much criticism. So you really can't pleasure everyone!

Another typical cliche ending foreseen. We already know the second lead character will never get the love interest. Its always been that way . I'm tired of them being used to spice up the story as objects and thrown away. authors knowing fully well they going to make the two main leads end up together since way the beginning. So cruel and sadistic of these authors . ╥﹏╥
