I thought that Maeda really looked like Bilbo and John. Shirasu looked like Smaug(?) and Sherlock, and Amamoto looked like a photocopy of Thorin. AHHHHH the author's note really confirmed my suspicions. A great read (≧∀≦) and with the Hobbit and Sherlock references really made my day <3
