I don’t know what to think about this?

Mizuki’s the kind of character you struggle to get along with. He bullied the hell out of his crush’s lover because he was jealous, and when told to back off by that same crush he reverted into the ‘victim’ and used his tears against Fuji even if it was unconsciously. Yet, still, he continued to pursue his crush, even going so far as to push Fuji away by using the fact that the guy he bullied so badly was Fuji’s best friend. And Fuji forgave him, just like that.

I get that Mizuki did bad things and he paid his price by having karma slap him in the face, but Fuji is so quick to forgive, and I feel like Seima and Itsumi forgave him way too quickly as well. I also feel like, if given the chance, Mizuki would easily give up Fuji if it meant he could have Seima. At the end, he seemed so enamoured by Seima just waking into the cat cafe, and called it ‘fate’. Hell, Fuji didn’t even say anything about it and just smiled. He doesn’t seem like the type to speak up at all if Mizuki chased another guy.

Overall, I don’t really know what to think of this? I don’t think Mizuki’s love is justified enough to give Fuji enough reassurance in their relationship, but I liked the story. I just think the characters need work.
