omg, same here. I was so sad to learn that the manga had been discontinued, but I still found myself coming back to read it again several times since 2005. I wish there was a continuation where they finally meet in the real world ╥﹏╥

Yeah pretty easy to lose interest when you die.

hmmmm it seems the mangaka might not be dead though. At least, death is definitely not the reason for losing interest in this manga. Invoke was released in 2003. Since then, the mangaka has published many other mangas including "Seifukusha to Kedamono to Boku" and "Bounty XXX," both of which were published in 2010.

Also, the mangaka's website still exists too, although it states that its suspended due to difficult circumstances. When I searched up the mangaka's info in English, Japanese, and Chinese, I only found that the artist was born March 30, 1965 and is currently 54 years old; no date of death is provided.

Could you please share where you found the info about the mangaka's death please? I'd really like to confirm it for myself so I can finally put this all to rest in my mind too. Thanks!

Well I can't confirm it either, nothing I try comes up with any new or relevant information on the mangaka in the last 5 years or more. Doesn't help that I found over 15 names they by. Frustrated cause if it's false that they passed I'd like to know
