When we're at a point when after everything that happened Onodera concludes that Takano's touch is ALWAYS GENTLE I don't even have it in me to be frustrated or disappointed anymore. This story was full of inconsistencies from the start but now the line has been crossed after which I am not able to fill the gaping holes in logic with my imagination and empathy and I strongly advise you all to stop too. We can psychoanalyse both Onodera and Takano as much as we want but the truth is we'll never be able to rationalise any of them because they're reinvented for every chapter without the slightest care for what has already been established. There's no deep psychology here, there's just pure mess. And it will continue for at least two more years because apparently, it's the end of the volume and the author will probably need to write enough chapters to fill at least one more book. And something tells me that instead of just using Kisa's story for that she will throw some new obstacles and drag Onodera's case even more...
