Hi! Sorry to ask you like this and this might be really obvious but can you explain to me what discord is? I've seen others commit about it and I don't understand why some people are upset about chapter updates for some manga?? I'm new to reading manga and I don't really get whats going on, can some one explain? pls?

Basically this site is all just stolen manga translations from other websites or servers on Discord. Though Discord is technically a platform for communicating between gaming, many people like it because they can create servers and divide it up with several channels and there are many good features. Anyways, many translating groups like to post their work on Discord, where they can get full credit for it rather than here. In here, it's being nabbed by others and posted without their consent, so many people think that probably only the first couple chapters should be uploaded along with a link to their discord server so that it's fairer to the people who translated it. Also, the people who worked hard to make the translations are rather upset that their work is being stolen like this when people can read it for free also on their own server.
Though of course, this is a controversial topic because some readers think that it's okay anyways because no one should complain here because if you come to Mangago, usually it's because it has a collection of manga that were scanslated (scan-translated) from various different websites and groups. Others however, are on the other side of the coin and feel that the other readers aren't truly appreciating the translator's hard work. After all, there were many cases where the translators were just too fed up with their work being stolen that they just up and stopped scanslating.

Of course!! I did it a very round about way bc all the current invites are expired (I would send u an invite and make it simple if I knew how but I don't so here's the story of how I did it- hopefully it works). A few months back I clicked on a discord invite link for this manga bc the comment said there were more updates there. I became very overwhelmed (theres lots of tabs and an extensive general chat room and idk what I was doing so I exited out). When I couldn't find a working link this time I decided to just google it since I remembered the name of the 'server'/'account' (impatient community). I googled 'impatient community discord' , its not the first option but like the 3rd or 4th it says 'Impatient Community - Discord'. From there it prompts u to make a username/account and then verify email. After that the server was saved to my account and now I can freely get on. *** Side note, if u haven't used discord before or something like its a lil confusing. There's a '!read-me-first tab!' on the left that explains what they're doing, and then the tabs under it are the main helpful ones where they update you about all the manga they follow and the latest releases (they have a lot more chapters for my fav ones XD I'm in love!).
