Akira Norikazu's flowers have a following all of their own. It does seem a bit much of a muchness in a yakuza yaoi story, but if it helps, think of them as being colour-coordinated with the rainbow coloured unicorn tattoos.
About me I really love the flowers in the background that Sensei Norikazu add along the characters. Back in the time it was pretty common to see flowered yaoi pages... It express romantism and beauty, delicatesse... I think it's perfect with Sensei's gorgeous and delicate style.
I really like this mangaka's works, but what's with so many flowers?! Cut back on the flowers sensei, it gets cheesy... But still, awesome mangas, including thi one!
