I tried looking at the raws on lezhin and in the final chapters (last 6 or something) I didn't see pyros at all. Like not his body, and not in a flashback either, just gone. Also the last chapter of the webcomic says "End" so I guess there are only 93 chapters and no season 2. I'm just gonna assume he's been killed off
