It was a tongue-in-cheek comment as it is something that I would like to see occur, rather than something I suspect is going on. I was thinking that it would be nice to see that she has seriously been considering her options instead of playing house. In fairness though, she originally said she didn't want one at all and has generally conducted herself in her "I'm not looking for servants, I am looking for comrades" attitude. Now she's being forced to choose from a large pool of people and, in typical shoujo fashion, it's working rather well....even if it wouldn't work in reality. I read this for entertainment rather than criticism however, which is why I can tolerate the preening guys and a not-so-clueless MC **I will continue to hope she is smarter than she often appears**
I hope to... i know i am little over it but I really got tired 9f that kinda of female lead... they are so typical and useless usually. I was hoping storng female character and good plot but turns into clasic shouju battle. After years I just want to tell mangaka to change subject even though it is impossible... especially these year manga plot quality is getting worse I think. I dont find good quality manga that much. They are usually for teenage girl who want to see handsome mans competing fro one girl
I agree completely. Truthfully, I think the reason why I continue reading these are more because I hate putting down a story once I've started or after I've invested a lot of time in it than because I find pleasure in reading it. There should probably be an age category or an additional tag for those who are looking for more mature plots.
Honestly, even most of the Harlem manga have weak females (Harlem bond in general tbh), and those are aimed for young adults and single girls looking for traits they want in a significant other. I would say the plots are decent but they are very short and there is almost no character improvement.
If you want a strong female lead, "There's something about Sun-yool" is very good. Sadly, it appears to be on hiatus and receives few updates (it hasn't dropped completely, but last I heard, the rights have been bought). "Akatsuki no Yona" is also a fantastic choice for strong females and multi-character development. I wouldn't suggest the anime until you've read the chapters though, as it skips a lot of info. Romantic development is slow, and the story line has become muddled, but I would say it's at least with looking at. It is a little harem-like, but the guys aren't hanging around for favors but each relies on their familial bonds.
