Plz go easy on her. She wont be anyone's fav character by any means. But her story and importance is huge. She just as a very stern and stubbern personality. 3. As for the "Church"; just like all religious doctrines. It is used as a convenient excuss to justify unwarrented actions. In this case, Farmes Kingdom to envade and claim Tempest. 4. In the WN, Rimuru allowed the skill "gluttony" to be released into a physical form. This put Hinata at a disadvantage, because true to name, it devoured all attacks and skills she threw at it. As a last resort, she used her/the church's most power spell (Disintegration). During the battle Great Sage analizes and stores all consumed abilites including this and the sealing barrier.
