So, while I wouldn't call this webcomic a masterpiece, it was still pretty good and it abstained from certain elements that appear to be in nearly every other shoujo or josei I come across that I am completely sick of seeing.
Things I liked:
1. No BS love triangle. Almost every single shoujo/josei romance manga I've ever read has a BS Love triangle. There was none of that here. I mean, sure there was the doctor chick who kept TRYING to get somethin' going, but I have never seen a male lead so adamantly and firmly shut that nonsense down without any of the long ridiculous plots about misunderstandings, or accidentally leading her on, or vagueness. He made his feelings very clear and she
2. The two leads actually like each other. They get along. They don't spend 75% of the series being jerks to each other or in a state of confusion about their feelings. They date, they spend time together, and they both communicate their affections. This really shouldn't be that rare.
3. No Abuse between two main leads.
4. No pointless drama. Miscommunications were easily resolved through consistent displays of affection and communication, annoying people put firmly in their place and given proper, firm set downs, and no real villains.
5. Both leads are considered desirable, attractive adults of above average intelligence and solid careers. I don't know, I'm sick of the whole "plain hardworking girl of SEVERELY below average intelligence who everyone insults obtaining the super sexy omg super rich special bishi man whilst still being drawn super cute, but just ignore that because she's actually really plain but not, like, 'plain' plain, but like attractive, but only to the male lead, though usually only after a makeover that involves a lip glimmer (you know, that slight shading and light effect on the lower lip), enhanced eyelashes and a drastic haircut (usually chopped short)". That's always so confusing, and so very stupid. They are not on equal footing financially in this manga, but at least it's somewhat more believable the female lead is not a pathetic shell of a person being constantly bullied and berated by a borderline-abusive male lead.
