Would you guys read a 'Yaoi' Novel? HELP ME WITH YOUR ANSWERS.

So, I'm doing an assignment on novel marketing and I wanted to know how many people here would want to read a novel/novella with similar themes that you find in yaoi/shounen-ai. Basically, a plotline just like any you'd see on here, but without the art and in a book form. This would really help me out! Thankyou! Feel free to comment questions or specific opinions! Otherwise, just downvote or upvote please!

No :/ I only get turned on when I can actually see the people having sex with their bare ripped rock hard body and their orgasmic faces. Written yaoi actually is very cringy for me sometimes and yeah- hope you do well on your assignment~

Yeah, am mentioning the fact that the lack of visuals might drive people away from reading written-only 'BL' material. Thanks!

Yes. I already read two yaoi light novels (back stage, yokozawa takafumi no baai), that I really enjoyed, but for some reason I prefer to read them in English, because in my mother language it is more cringy, don't know why though ^^

hmm only read a few books like that
    "call me by your name"
"the genteman's guide to vice and virtue"
    'Simon and the homosapien's agenda"
and some short stories like "the confusion of sentiments" by Zweig
I'd love to read more but they need to have a good plot you know?
oh and I also read bl fanfiction all the time on ao3 and some are as good if not better than actual books.
    Hope this helps :D

I'm so gonna check out the books you mentionned! thanks!
also, I actually listened to "the gentleman's guide to vice and virtue" audiobook and let me tell you, it's devine! the narrator is British and he did a terrific job! Not sure if you're a fan of Harry Potter but the narrator is actually the guy who played Tom Riddle in the second movie...
hope you find and enjoy the book!
