Wow this is such a good analysis and explanation! This is a really great place to interact with the WDTFS community that I didn't know aobut! To add on to your notion of Seju noticing Wons caring nature, I think she might have also been testing it out. When Won was a bit scared but still trusted Seju enough to pierce her ear I thought that was really sweet and seemed like Seju could have been testing out how far Won would go for her. Seju rushed Won into it then took care of her in return quite well.
In addition to this, I also totally agree with the Seju familiarizing herself to Won idea. Seju rubs Wons ears and takes any chance to touch her and look after her. More proof is while Won was bending down for Seju when she was on the phone. This shows that Seju has been looking after her piercing ALOT so much that Won knows how to react to Seju and to bend down in habit. In the scene when Seju is reading I think Won expected Seju to say something or check her ear and thats why she was glancing at Seju. Guess Presidents plan is working out after all (▰˘◡˘▰)
I think I read on older posts that there is an idea that Seju might not even notice her feelings for Won yet and she is doing this without realizing her attraction. I personally think Seju notices that she is getting closer and she is breaking her "Habit" cycle. She knows she has a problem with running from people. It was shown in ch.110-111. On chapter 110, where she acknowledges her habit of running. She then has her flash back when she displayed her habit of running from new people for the sake of Sumin. Now she is starting to break out of her shell and is stopping her habit by warming up to Won.
I agree with your final idea that Won is the perfect match for Seju. I hope the next chapter is about Seju learning to swim from Won or at least Won swimming for Seju. I want Won to show off her abs so Seju can fully awaken to her attraction. Can't wait for the new chapter! GO TEAM BRINK (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
For those who have yet understood clearly the first scene, I'm Korean and we've been discussing this inner fight of Seju as well so we translated it this way. First of all, The language/tone Seju uses to talk with Won in this chapter has become softer, not that cautious/cold anymore. I guess it's because Seju realizes Won really is a good person that won't attack or take advantage of her like others so she now puts her guard down.
For the statement "treat me as a complete drunk", it can also be translated as "she completely treats me as a drunk". Both just implied Seju's frustration over Won not seeing her as a sober one. Because she was indeed not that drunk, she still knew it was the "young caretaker" who carried her to bed or didn't faint out like the time at Sumin's house either...When she asked Won "Or?", it really means she was expecting something else since in Korean version, Won uses this word "그럼..." (or, so, then?) a lot to suggest another option for Seju when she asked her something, for ex, the time Won offered Seju some food (tangerine or(then).. chocolate or...) or the time Seju said she went into her room without consent and Won also replied (or..., shall we reinstall the door lock?)...So it seems to Seju that Won always has some options for a case, now what if a drunk woman with someone hovering on top of her didn't feel like going to sleep? Would Won suggest doing something to suit the atmosphere? Lol no, her glass of water had succesfully slapped Seju back to her sense.
About the piercing, we also notice Seju only checked out one ear but to some of us, it doesn't seem like she was teasing Won but rather, she was drawing out a plan started out from the moment Won touched her ear, Seju had felt "something" and wanted so make Won get used to it as well as to her, Won seems like a "virgin" because >90% of us human would throw ourselves in a hot sex in Won's case, yet how pure it was when she didn't even get a single idea of it? So if Seju was trying to get into Won's pants to release her loneliness/needs, it must be easier if Won is used to having some kinds of skinship with Seju first or else she wouldn't even dare lay a hand on her boss.
But thinking back, it still makes sense since Seju's physical needs was mostly started from her emotional feelings. In other words, she has found a "right sex partner". Emotionally, Won treats her nicely and takes good care of her, she can also share her own little lonely world with Won. Physically, Seju found her ideal type in Won: "young, beautiful, not as cold as she looks", and now even strong, muscular,...Seju also has a long term passion for swimming when she wanted to install a pool in Hello Studio but eventually stopped by Sumin, or she prioritized going to the beach/island for holiday. Now how perfect it will be if she has a girlfriend who used to be a swimmer? Won fits Seju's needs really well after a long time being neglected as said, physically and emotionally by Sumin. So it's not a surprise to me if she wants sex or even have feelings for Won first. But I could be wrong, it's still possible if Won has loved Seju at first sight.
