One of these days I would like to see a yaoi rapist actually be reported to the police... police, yeah I know non-existent in yaoi.

For characters after having a dickhead soon to be ex have sex with them without a condom despite asking otherwise, go down to the police station and report them for sexual assault. Then oh my god I know how novel, get a fucking STD test.

None of this oh well, if it's you, who cares if the word no no no no was repeated shite.

rant done.

one manga had a guy get raped, and his man said he needed a hiv test. But then said man went on and had unprotected sex to -over write- the rape and to start their relationship. Cause ya know, condoms only need to be worn for the baddie characters.

one rational manga, at the start of the AID's crisis mentioned that the guy's ex had died of it, and due to the characters job he hadn't managed to get tested yet.

one manga from said peak AID's crisis, mentioned that the setting, swingers club, they all had to be tested and it was a big deal to get a negative back.

One manga, from the 80's/90's actually talking about and following through HIV tests. ONE. And now look at all the manhwa like BJ Alex, or this one which are just nonsense as if authors think preventing pregnancy is the only reason to wrap it up.

yaoi logic gets pretty fucking dull quick.

You'll like this one then! There's (kind of) realistic situations concerning gay people, and rape handled as it should be. It's pretty old but one of my faves for that very reason (even if it's really simple)
