As someone who has grown up watching married couples putting up with each other and not having a drop of love or affection towards e/o, I can say that Hyesung’s approach towards marriage is very relatable. Attachment issues, fear of commitment, low self esteem, and insecurities run rampant in my brain all the time. Cynical thoughts like ‘all marriages are doomed’ or ‘marriage is a selfish act’ are the reason why i have never managed to make myself emotionally available to another person. It’s honestly tragic and i haven’t related more to a character that i relate to hyesung.
