I think the reason he accepted it so easily is because of the fact that Glen was there when the professor accident happened,,, I mean I would automatically trust someone who saved me from possibly getting killed :/
you're right, I probably would as well, but sometimes it just so happens that they had an ulterior motive and used that situation to get closer to you instead of sincerely wanting to help you

........and the little bunny moved into the lion's den. Joseph's sense for danger is really low...moving in with Glen before really getting to know him. Didn't they literally just meet a few chapters back??
