Painfully long. It took all of my patience to finish. The story could have lost about 40 chapters in the middle, as there are 80 total and the middle dragged and repeated. The relationships were rather old fashioned and lacked passion perhaps because the work is dated, the 90's I believe. However it was the characters personalities which kept the story stagnant for SO LONG. I found Kyouko to really irritate me. She has two men and will not choose either one but simply leads them around by the nose. She only makes up her mind because one withdraws. The men were no better for letting her get away with that behavior. Regarding the romantic dynamic, I am not a fan of love triangles, in fact I hate them, which this story was completely flooded with. The humor was fair but the way the love developed was infuriating, each character repeating the same mistake again and again. It is a romance story but not a single kiss occurred for half of the book and then just a bunch of sex, marriage and pregnancies in the end. Regardless, I actually liked the ending it was calm and complete in a satisfying way. And there were times when I went 'aww', however it lacked true passion. Mainly for its length, I will not be reading this again.
