First we get an entire chapter about how Flora apparently doesn't understand the concept of periods and pads (lol)... And now in chapter 12 we get that very hard foreshadowing with the wolf, that since Flora is finally losing the rose colored glasses she looked at the princess with--I mean, she's seen her be a normal gross human now, with the soiling herself and the lice etc--she may kill her in order to keep her "pure" in her mind. Of course I don't think that that is what will happen, but kudos to the author for making that direction "possible".
