exactly!! It also feels more realistic that way. Even though both scenarios are possible; average surroundings would include mixed couples, not only gay/straight ones. Especially in yaoi... many times everyone's just gay... and if some women happen to appear; they're usually portrayed as a ''threat'' :'x
I like how everyone has their own bf/gf. Every story that has a gay main couple makes everyone gay, the same with the straight main couple ones. I like the fact that they casually include both!
