I think am going to drop this. Sometimes authors need to know that dragging a story for too long will only ruin it. I never understood the FL, she was naive at the beginning, and after 6 years, tadaaaa, she's still naive. It's just exhausting really. I have no idea and nothing has been said that explains why she can't just say the truth and get her son back.
At the end, she will miss his whole childhood. And honestly at this point, she should just go away and start over. No matter how bad a mother the sister is, that's the only mother her child knows
