If you are a new reader and new to yaoi, Tohjoh Asami is known for this style. In addition, she has long passed on so don’t speak ill of the dead.
I grew up Reading manga so pretty much my whole life i’ve been reading all type of stuff. I dont usually even start mangas witch such styles so i wasn’t familiair witch her work. Also im just critisizing not speaking ill of her, it’s a manga afterall everyone has a different opinion
So what do you mean about “ people like that” isn’t that speaking ill of someone. If you are criticizing her work then you limit it to the plot not to the person. I only called you out because you said “people like that”. There are a lot of comments below who are also voicing their surprise or dissatisfaction on how story 1 it turned out but they don’t diss the mangaka.
It’s just a sign of my disappointment in how poorly she handled a good story by selling a cheap fantasy. I’m not a fan of mangakas who ruin their stories and are insensitive towards the plot. Think however u want
What's wrong with him bottoming? That's not "some cheap plot twist" but more like "mimicking real life." Both of those are guys, both can be either top or bottom.

I quite liked the first story until the mangaka had too UTTERLY RUIN it with the cheap plot twist by making Atsushi bottom. I am so disappointed and kinda infuriated.. honestly people like that don't deserve to write a good story... just ughhh
