lmao that takes talent

the author literally took a good character and made him a creepy manipulative piece of shit
which would have been interesting if it was a slow thing but he literally just snapped out of nowhere
it happened so fast I had to go back and check to make sure Alan was actually sane at some point

also MC is legit just like, "yeah he's crazy, we been knew" even though it's never been acknowledged until now?? I could've used the warning if this was apparently just common knowledge. And even as common knowledge, why is MC super down with crazy?

"We date for two days (after I creep into your room and literally assault you) and now you should leave the country with me????" Shouldn't the response to that be a restraining order instead of a proposal?

Omg and don't even get me started on the random ass demon

I think I'm done with this author, way too many blindsides lmao

Yea, first story started off nicely, but the ending was rushed and without much sense. Second story seems okay now, plot isn't going too fast, but I'm afraid it will around the end.
For now, I like the second story better, but if the author rushes it again, I think I'm gonna give up.

Um so you think that a book that can reveal the past, understand the present and predict the future while conveniently landing itself in the appropriate person's hands all on it's own is far more believable? Okay, then..... And where was this flippant reply about how 'Daniel's' response should have been to apply for a restraining order when other readers were calling him 'stupid' because he didn't immediately jump into 'Alan's' arms despite the book placing him in danger whenever Daniel went against the book's/his own wishes? Because 'Alan' did demonstrate just how manipulative he could be all throughout those chapters. Although I'm not surprised people who victim blame missed it, so......

lmao first off, calm down wow, the salt in the comment could give someone high blood pressure

the magical book is literally the plot point the entire story is based on. It's fantasy. That has nothing to do with characters making unrealistic decisions and/or just completely changing in general.

In general, I'm confused how you got to victim blaming at all, but I also don't care so I'll ignore that one. Uh... he did immediately jump into Alan's arms though?? Like legit went and immediately bought a ring which is literally what I referenced, did you read the whole thing? (And what do you mean by "And where was this flippant reply about how 'Daniel's' response should have been..." that's literally my comment, not something that was said in the story. Like I am the one who said that. The where is the comment you are mad at.) Also why would I care what other readers thought when forming my own opinion?

Alan had manipulative moments, yeah, but nothing like the rushed end of the story lmao he literally goes off the deep end, why should I ignore that? Or is "I'm gonna take this book bc it's kinda shitty and obviously why I can't get my buddy to love me," the same as, "I'm gonna sneak into his room and sex him up while he's sleeping and also half-blackmail him but call it a promise" to you???

I'm so confused by your comment how exactly did you get this heated when it doesn't seem like you read most of my comment?
