Alright so I’ve been trying to answer this question for awhile now and here is what I’ve come up with so far. In 19 days when jian yi kisses zhan Zheng he replies with a punch. Jian yi isn’t very upset about this but why did zhan punch him? He clearly cares a lot about jian and loves him and yet he punched him. A. He’s scared of being seen as gay. This can be proved a lot in the book for one the sister was just starin as it was happening and a lot of times in the classroom for example when jian put his foot on zhan. Or b. He’s just not gay ( please no) no data to back this up besides all the times jian yi gets punched when’s hes tryna smooch
