There's an option in gogoanime for specific video players

Try 9anime.to . Go to the anime you want, then in Server select RapidVideo and select the episode. The video will have 3 dots on the right bottom side. Click it and it'll show a download option
And so is reading manga and most of the webtoons and watching anime for free (outside of crunchyroll and funimation)

yeah but being in possession of something and owning it is different, viewing it (being in possession) and downloading (owning it) have different severities.
In the eyes of authors and editors viewing it without paying and without their permission is igual illegal.
Lots of sites already has been successfully taken down
use torrents (but avoid uTorrent). it's much faster and involves less sketchy pop-up ads and file sharing websites, so long as you know where to look. dm me and i can hit you up with some links.
