I dont quiet understand....did they really became father or son in its sequel hisashi's full name changed into nishijima but in this story the reaction of shibusawa made me confuse when haato said that hisashi is going to become nishijima's son and i keep wondering if they were lovers or not....please help me i am not able to figure it out

Since same sex marriage is illegal in Japan, only way for same sex couple to be legally married is through adoption. Nishijima san adopted him but I am guessing the nature of it was like a marriag.

I loved re reading the story of haato, but since hisachi shows up in the other manga, why didn't they make a story about what happened to hisachi and how his lover died.
