Saiyuki, saiyuki reload and then saiyuki blast the other saiyki's are side stories so it doesn't really matter when you read them but they are really good stories too.
Though it's better to read Saiyuki Gaiden first before Saiyuki... If you're sentimental, you'll cry before reading Saiyuki :')

Yeah, a lot of things in Saiyuki suddenly make a lot of sense if you read Gaiden. Though I personally think it's better to read the main story first before Saiyuki Gaiden just so you can come back and read this and have your mind blown at the double meanings you missed before and get all sentimental over this beautiful story once more.
