mangas are still drawn on papers, it's harder than drawing digitally. and it's harder to get raws since they aren't issued weekly and many mangakas are taking long breaks :(

A lot of mangas are being drawn/distributed digitally nowadays with its set time. If you check places like DMM, alphapolis, pixiv comic etc. <:

I agree though. Some of the mangas found on this site's database are paper-based. Cleaning, scanning, typesetting, etc. take a lot of work. Some mangas are still being published in weekly, monthly, hell, bi-monthly issues.

they dont take lone breaks.. BL manga published every 3months and even after they published it'll take time for it to be translated.. theres a lot of BL manga out there but not many translation groups.... webtoons are easy to post here becoz you just need to make screenshots.. and cleaning and typesetting is easier to do conpare to manga

Most of the BL stories on this site are still manga and they didn't become less. The only thing that's different is that most webtoons on this site are just copies of the official translation which means that they update once a week and not whenever the scanlation group has enough time to work on it.
And because the release schedule is more frequent and steady (and typically, a series is a lot longer than the average BL manga) the stories become more popular than something that that is released a few times per year.

Yep, Manga needs patience. A webtoon is published worldwide, on a medium that is easier to clean up and translate, also is shorter... every week. A manga likely needs to be imported to a scanlator every month, every 3 months, lucky if shorter, has to be scanned, cleaned, translated.

Ahhh this makes sense, thxu for the answers. I got a tiny bit fed up, that's all 'cause I still prefer good japanese bl over some korean webtoons ..
It came to me that the korean fanbase grew bigger and more korean translationgroups were born and I forgot that it's here and there the official releases just ripped off lol
