I think it's a cultural thing. Like at thirty you are supposed to be settled down already. It's a very antiquated view for us but not there.
HOW do they pretend to be greasing and old when they're 30?!

Whenever I read this I thought they'd be in their mid to late 40's or something xD (I wasn't actually reading through those 2 chapters, I scrolled through and they made it to look as if they're at least 40 xD what even)
