Sadly in Japan incest is not illegal and it is really common, so much that judges have said many times that fathers who raped theie daughters are innocent!!!
It is really hard for a girl who sue her father of molesting or rape to win because in Japan it is only rape if it is violent and the girl did everything to defend herself or she was a kid, and they don't see anything wrong that fathers touch their daughters!!!

It isn’t illegal in Europe either, but it’s like considered very gross over here. But luckily rape is rape here no matter who it is. As long as it wasn’t consensual for either party it is rape.

Maybe because I come from 2 countries that it is illegal when it is parents with their children, grandparents with their grandchildren and between siblings... no problem between cousins even though it is still ewwww!!!
So that is why I have a hard time with incest!!! It is even considered incest if the son/daughter is adopted!!!
