I agree with you for the most part only thing I don’t agree with is when you said “if you ain’t for the hardcore yaoi then are you even a yaoi fan” you can be a yaoi fan but not like the stories that deals with heavy topics or don’t like reading the sex scenes for whatever reasons. Yaoi is literally just bl (boy love) and shounen Ai is a prime example of this since Shounen Ai is the tamer version of yaoi. (Basically no sex scene). But other than that i agree it irritates me a lot when people complain about a story because they don’t like the topics the story deal with. People need to learn how to differentiate reality from fiction. Cause at the end of the day this is just a manga, a fictional story. If you like good for you if not then move on. There is tags and description for a reason and 8/10 times translators put warnings in the story to warn readers if the story deals with rape, abuse, ect.
