Well, it's legal but probably still considered taboo. In the rich upper class though, it might be acceptable.

How brilliant. Love the ending. It's Nw, it's different, and it's a hell of a lot better then I expected. The only thin is why didn't the world receive their marriage as something taboo? Isn't that how it's normally perceived when you marry your dead siblings spouse?
