After the situation with Haru and Aki gets fully solved the story will continue with volume 5 which will obviously show both couples and how they are doing so don’t worry. It’s just an arc

Honestly speaking, I've always been more interested in Kaji and Haruki than Satou and Ritsuki. Why? Because Kaji is in love with someone who is alive. Which makes it possible for him to stop loving that person and fall in love with someone else. Kaji will eventually find someone who will over shadow Marata Ugetsu. Someone like Haruki who'll love him unconditionally and forgives him no matter what.
Meanwhile, Satou is in love with someone who is dead. When someone you love dies, they become imprinted in you and it is impossible to stop loving them. Why? Because they can no longer do something which will cause you to lose your love for them. In your mind, they become this ideal person in which you'll always have memories of. And you'll always remember that you loved them.
Satou may love Ritsuki but he will always love Yoshida Yuuki. Which will cause Ritsuki to feel like he's being compare to Yuuki. Or worse, he'll feel like he's a replacement of Yuuki. Cause Yuuki did for Satou what no one could do. He died for Satou. The only way for Ritsuki to rise above Yuki is for Ritsuki to die for Satou as well. Or for Satou to feel like he could die for Ritsuki.
Looking at the story, it's pretty much predictable what's going to happen in their relationship. Satou and Ritsuki's will eventually reach a cross road where Ritsuki or Satou has to do something in order for their relationship to get pass Yuuki's death. And the only way to do that is to repeat the same event. For one of them to die for the other. But even then, Satou will still continue to love Yuuki.
If you ask me, there is no point in pursuing a relationship when you know the other person can never stop loving someone else. Cause the things you do will forever come second to them.
