I never liked Ayeon cause he had ulterior motives from the start. I didn't really see a character change or development either. So you gonna r*pe someone all because someone you like TOLD you too.....nah. Both him and the girl are low.

But you sort of have to understand the relationship dynamic he was in which was obviously an abusive one in which soyeon did nothing but manipulate and use him to get her way. Not only this, it was a physically abusive relationship as well although this aspect never really seemed to phase him as much from what we saw in Never Understand. Love or thinking you’re in love can drive people to do anything to get a persons attention if you’re really desperate for it like Ayeon was with that rat lookin POS. However, I do agree that it was extremely low of him to go that far for someone that abuses him and I think the author wanted to showcase that realization with him breaking up with her and the small interaction with Jaebom before the story ended. To me seeing that, shed light to another path for Ayeon and that’s why I think the authors new work, Incorrigible is great idea because we get to see a semi-pivotal character like Ayeon learn to be happy and make his own rationalized choices not for the sake of others but for himself.
