Same thought... it was amazing because he really came to like her, and I was REALLY waiting for them to end up together, but they cut it.

I'm actually pretty disappointed in the manga. The first chapter has the makeup artist falling in love and he leaves her behind even though she's beginning to like him too. They could have made an exception for love. Then you never hear from her again and the end was very abrupt. I'm a huge shoujo romance fan and this made me sad.
