Lol me back then. Honestly, the best thing to do is just to take a break from mangas. I did for like five? seven years? I moved on to other things like games and tv series. Mostly games since the story is interactive and I get to control how the narrative plays out or, y'know, get myself lost in the illusion of the choices I've made. If BL mangas are getting boring, move to BL video games. Pick the dude you want to fuck rather than merely reading the story.
Yeah, yaoi visual novels are nice but they can get predictable. Games that don't focus on romance but still gives you the option to date are good. Or games that can be heavily modded, you can tailor everything to your liking.

I feel the same though, I've been looking into shit for plot rather than sex scenes which absolutely fuckin new to me. I feel like less horny?? idk, sometimes I'll be reading a yaoi and barely tolerating because everything in it annoys me and the moment they start making out of some shit I click off. I've only been reading a few token good ones like dear door and such, but my main man is mostly depressing shit like Oyasumi PunPun or Three Days Of Happiness.

I feel like recently me and yaoi have fallen into a rut. I feel like I've seen it all and keep looking for something truly original but keep being faced with cliches and outdated tropes. I stared seeing shoujo on the side too, she kept me entertained for like a week until I got bored of the same old thing. Shouen is a really nice guy and is almost taking yaois place in my heart if it wasnt for 1000 iseakis with nearly the same plot. Can someone give me some relationship advice please.
