I don’t care about be downvotes but what’s so irritating is the whole dynamic between editor and author revolves around the author’s naïveté as being a virgin sexually and romantically. He’s. Constantly teased about it. When he’s given the opportunity to advance his status in sexual experience it’s taken from him and forced to maintain being a virgin because from I understand Japanese consider men who haven’t penetrated their sexual partner to still be a virgin. This completely undermines the entire point of him sexually advancing with the aid of the editor helping. That was the entire point of the second leg of the story. Only for our editor to decide nope you’ll bottom and stay my bottom for the duration of the remaining plot. Honestly love people have for such weak plots and even being remotely critical is seen as an attack to their appreciation for low hanging fruit.

I absolutely hate when this happens. Just because he’s a virgin he’s forced to take the bottom role, and will likely have to now forever and then when he says no it’s excused with the tsundere no/stop= don’t listen to me you know my body better than I do. It’s not even remotely endearing seeing someone revoke consent and then witness them be forced into a sexual encounter they’re not ready for. I hate semes like him especially who immediately after confessing expect sex and moreso sex on their terms. It’s so gratuitous more than anything rushing into these sex scenes. Further more you feel absolutely nothing for why the editor loves the author, it just felt extremely flat. What is so hard about a well paced plot and characters that retain their integrity.
