Someone clearly hasn't read Never Understand because that's the point of Jaerim (the uke you called ugly). He's considered ugly to some (I don't think he is ugly) but he is one of the best people in the whole series. Looks aren't everything...

I like this prequel I’m not going to read the main story I’m not interested in reading that I rather this one
these chapters are side stories of never understand. it's not a separate sequel entirely. you would appreciate this even more if you knew Ayeon's original storyline. you don't have to read it if you don't want to but you are definitely missing out on something wonderful!
What I meant to say was I agree that it doesn't matter what the person looks like . The whole point of the story was that he was loved for his personality and not his looks . There's nothing wrong with the way he looks. I agree with the comment where it's not all about the looks.
I'm actually surprised this is separate at all, most authors would just tuck this right in at the end of the main story
i think that has something to do with the author's conflicts with lezhin who released the original. Probably licensing issues.
That makes sense, lezhin has had issues with other stories in the past. (Most recently I was glad to see wolf in the house make a return, the hiatus shenanigans had me worried there for a bit)
