I really wonder if Japanese people get sick this easily. It's shown in manga so much (and I know it's manga) but what do they base this from?

    I was thinking the same thing. I've never fainted during a high fever and I've never fainted at the hot springs or after a hot bath, also never heard of these things happening to someone... Maybe they really are more delicate

    I feel delicate now lol...i've fainted from a cold/fever twice in my life and i've known someone who did feel dizzy and like fainting during a too long hot bath haha

    Wow. It seems more common than what i previously thought and it's plausible that low outdoor exposure could lower the immune defenses.

    A question I’ve had ever since I started reading manga. Just how delicate are Japanese people? They faint after a hot bath, because of a fever, they get colds because of nothing...
