literally and technically: nope. in japan, gay marriage is illegal and harshly looked down. it was just a ceremony made by their family and friends.
Wedding ceremony has nothing to do with a legally registered marriage. I think OP just wants to know if the wedding really happened or was it a dream which is likely).
legally registered is illegal for gays in Japan. that's my point. while japan requires to be registered to be legally married. other countries you get legally married with the wedding ceremony and has no register format.
