I know this sounds like I'm so materialistic, but what if you don't know what to give to other people. I rarely give anyone I care abt gift cards but somtimes I can't find what they will like. I tended to buy expensive gifts for people I like ,cause I think they deserve good stuffs, especially my parents. I think giving expensive gifts also showing a sign that you like them. For uncle and red hair dude, they have to balance it out. I find that people tend to make it seems like money is a bad thing
It's not that expensive gifts are a bad thing , but the red head has to prove his feelings in a different way than only through gifts. If you use only one way to show your affection , the other person gets suspicious if your are really serious in the relationship . If red head only uses words for example and no action like never asking the uncle to a date , then this would also be bad. Or if the red head just acts but never speaks how he feels about the uncle. Red head needs to learn to balance action , words and gifts for his loved one
Yes exactly! He doesn't know how else he should win the uncle over cause he is from a rich family whose parents don't really care for him so much. But that's why he has to learn that thinking he can get the uncle with money won't get him far
I also think he is not a rotten kid but purer in his intention, otherwise the uncle would stay afar
