I’d like to believe that most people differentiate between fiction and real, but that’s not the case for most people

Also, the issue is that rape is almost NEVER portrayed the way it is in such mangas/webtoons/manhwas. The amount of fictions normalizing rape, kinda concerns me. At the end of the day, you can have fun with it, but this is what it is.
We must look back at what this person is saying, a fantastic example they gave us, was mass shootings, and shooting games (that include war, and even Nazi’s). These topics are very sensitive, especially since there are people till this day that are going through ptsd, but we still create games and movies about so, and rarely anyone complains. So I fail to understand why rape within fictional stories is absolutely unacceptable, when there was a literal anime about Nazi vampires. BUT HEY, you’re right, it is what it is. Yaoi brings in the big bucks so, I doubt it’s going to change.
I don’t mind it by itself. I read these fictions and i’ve never fucked my brother or raped anyone. What matters is to realize that this is a dumb portrayal of reality, but you can enjoy it and there’s nothing wrong with enjoying something that makes no sense in reality

Well, take this for example: Do you thinking shooting and killing people is okay?

Well, in some video games people shoot and kill other players, does that mean that they endorse killing people, or that they think even a little bit that it's okay? No. Because it is FICTION. It is not real.
Despite your personal morals, we all should be able to differentiate between fiction and reality.
And it isn't that hard. We all do it, why is this different?
